Maggie Grace was born Margaret Grace Denig, September 21, 1983. Maggie Grace is an American actress best known for her role as Shannon Rutherford in ABC TV show Lost. Maggie Grace is originally from Worthington in Ohio, dropped out of high school and moved to Los Angeles after her divorced parents divorced. Although she was struggling financially, her 2001 debut was as Rachel's Room's main character. The role she played as Martha Moxley, a 15-year-old victim of murder in the TV film Murder In Greenwich in 2002 earned her a nomination for a Young Artist Award. Grace Rutherford played the lead actress in Lost in its two initial seasons. In 2004 she received the Screen Actors Guild Award with all the cast. After leaving the show, Grace was keen to work as a film actress, and had played opposite Tom Welling in The Fog in 2005. In addition, she appeared on screen in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club (both 2007) and opposite Liam Neeson as Kim Mills in Taken in 2008. In 2008, she reprised the role Taken 2 (2013) and Taken 3 (2015). In addition, she played Alice on Malice in Wonderland which is an updated interpretation that the Lewis Carroll novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace returned to the character as Shannon in two more episodes of Lost as well as the show's finale. In 2013 she appears in Season 6 of Californication. She plays Faith an actress who is a muse for the stars and catches the eye from Hank Moody (David Duchovny).
